Frequently asked questions...
Children sleep much more than eight
hours a day because they are constantly growing. The quality of
their sleep has a direct influence on their development.
Just because children can fall asleep
anywhere and on anything... doesn't mean that they don't require a
restful sleeping place and a good bed. Quite the contrary, only a
good sleep will promote growth and good neck and back posture.
To
ensure a good sleep, one that will promote growth, they must be
provided with proper body alignment, flexible support, freedom of
movement, air circulation.
Science has proven that many phases of
sleep play an important part in a child's development. It is during
childhood, more than at any other period of life, that the body must
be given the opportunity to regenerate if it is to transform into an
adult's body.
